I want to keep my cv to an A4 size, but I don't want it to be just a straight off flat piece of paper because that not very interesting. I decided to look at some brochure/pamplet type designs as they are usually A4 in size and I thought that the format would be quite interesting for a cv. Below are quick experiments/mock ups of my initial cv idea:
